LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A cold front sitting just to our south this morning and a couple small disturbances moving in from the west overhead will trigger a few showers this afternoon into the early evening. A few snowflakes may mix in on the back end of these as cooler air continues to pour in from the north. Little to no accumulation of snow is expected.
High pressure rolling in for the start of the workweek keeps us dry on Monday but a small chance of light snow comes in from the south late Tuesday. At this time our southern counties appear to be at most risk of this. While highs start out in the 40s during the beginning of the workweek we'll plunge into the 20s on Wednesday as an Arctic blast arrives from Canada. We remain cold with highs in the 30s for the remainder of the week.
TODAY: Mostly Cloudy, A Few Afternoon Showers / Flurries, High: 48
TONIGHT: Partly Cloudy, then Clearing, A Shower or Flurry Early, Low: 24
MONDAY: Mostly Sunny, High: 42
TUESDAY: Partly Sunny, Small Chance of Light Snow, High: 43, Low: 27
