Sunday was the last day to check out the XFest art festival, which has been going on all weekend.
The festival brings different types of artists together to perform and present their work.
Sunday's portion of the festival focused on local artists and performance groups.
XFest was put on by 119 Gallery, a nonprofit organization that promotes contemporary and community-based artwork, as well as other exhibitions and performances.
Normally hosted in Lowell, this year's event was held at Gateway City Art's new location on Race Street.
"When we opened this space, it was exactly what we had in mind," said Vitek Karuta, director of Gateway. "To be able to accommodate artists of all sorts from all over the place and the venue is now ready to do that. And it's big enough and comfortable and, it looks great. We are very happy to be here."
"I've been a Holyoke resident for over a decade now, and I knew this would be a perfect fit," said Jenifer Gelineau, co-producer of XFest. "I think this is exactly what people in our community are looking for, interesting and exciting things. It's the perfect fit, and I'm happy to bring more art and beauty into Holyoke."
The weekendlong festival was entirely free and open to the public.
Organizers plan on holding next year's event at Gateway again.
