LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Get ready for Black Birds of Paradise to explode onto the Louisville music scene at the release show for their debut album.

The band already has an established following in Louisville, as they collaborated on a popular record featuring local artists called THERE IS NO ONE: Louisville is for Lovers, a tribute to Palace Brothers. They've also captivated audiences with numerous live shows since then.

Check out Black Birds of Paradise on Facebook.

By the looks of it, their debut record release show is going to be one to remember. Join them Saturday, March 1 at The New Vintage (2126 S Preston St) along with Lady Pyramid and Murals. Visuals will be run by Spectra and Squallis Puppeteers will also be at the show. Doors are at 8 p.m. Cover is only $5.

If you're going to the show, we want to see your pictures! Tweet them using the hashtag #TheSetlistWAVE and we'll add them to our website.

The Setlist is a collaboration between WFPK Music Director Kyle Meredith and WAVE 3 News Producer Laurel Mallory with videography and editing by Chris Witzke. It airs every Sunday morning on WAVE 3 News Weekend Sunrise.
