LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Here are 10 things Kentuckiana will be talking about today:

1. Snow and bitter cold -- The snow comes to an end this morning, but bitter cold remains. WAVE 3 News Storm Tracking Team Meteorologist Christie Dutton talks about a warm up in her forecast for the week ahead.

2. School closings -- Thousands of area students get another day off from school today. Click here for the complete list of school and business closings and delays.

3. Severe Weather Awareness Week -- Kentuckians are encouraged to know about severe weather risks and take action to prepare for them.

4. Corvette removal -- The National Corvette Museum will begin removing cars from a sinkhole that opened beneath the museum's Skydome last month. Eight prized cars were swallowed by the sinkhole.

5. JLaw takes (another) tumble -- Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence may be the first person nominated for an Oscar two years in a row to fall at the Oscars two years in a row. Lawrence famously fell last year as she accepted her Best Actress Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook. Last night, she fell over a traffic cone as she stepped onto the red carpet. 6. Shoni says goodbye -- Native American Shoni Schimmel plays her final game with the University of Louisville women's basketball team tonight. More than 1,500 Native Americans will attend senior night tonight at the KFC Yum! Center to cheer her on.

7. Guns in school parking lots -- A bill that would allow guns in parking lots outside Indiana's schools is headed to a vote in the House today.

8. Ads on school buses? -- Big yellow school buses could become rolling billboards in a bill approved by the Indiana Senate. Click here to find out more about this legislation.

9. ISP trooper hit -- An Indiana State Police trooper had a close call along Interstate 65 Sunday in Bartholomew County when a car crashed into an ISP cruiser while troopers were helping a semi driver after a wreck.

10. 10-digit dialing -- People in southern Indiana's 812 area code must now dial 10 digits when making a call, even within the same area code.
