Dress in Blue Day

On March 7th everyone is encouraged to dress in blue for colon cancer awareness. The Kentucky Cancer Program (KCP) and Madeline Abramson will take the Incredible Colon to Doss High School on March 7th for a special health fair for colon cancer awareness and health and wellness. Also, 500 students at Stonestreet Elementary will gather together for a photo with Madeline for Dress in Blue Day.

National Pancake Day

IHOP restaurants will serve up free short stacks of its famous buttermilk pancakes on National Pancake Day, Tuesday, March 4, 2014, to benefit Kosair Children's Hospital (part of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals).

In exchange for the free short stacks, customers are encouraged to leave a voluntary donation in support of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children and other local charities.
