LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man is facing several charges after a series of crimes over a seven-month period that include an armed robbery and a violent incident at a Louisville McDonald's.

According to an arrest report, 23-year-old Braxton L. Henderson was an employee of the McDonald's at 5600 Preston Highway on August 9, 2013 when he entered the restaurant at a time when he was not scheduled to work to speak with a manager about a work-related issue. Police said Henderson became angry during the discussion and threw a cup of soda over the counter. He then began throwing merchandise and destroying property in the restaurant and even pushed the manager to the ground and stood over him yelling, investigators said.

The arrest reports states Henderson went into the manager's office and took $221 from a cash drawer that was being counted before returning to the restaurant's lobby and throwing cups and other items behind the counter.

He is charged in this case with second-degree robbery and criminal mischief.

A second arrest report names Henderson as one of two suspects in an armed robbery on January 9, 2014. According to police, the men kicked in the back door of a home, and Henderson pointed a gun at the victim, who tried to escape through a window. Police said Henderson ordered the man back inside.

Henderson and his alleged accomplice, who was not identified on the report, are accused of stealing two pairs of Nike Jordan shoes valued at $400.

The second suspect was arrested at the Bon Air Library branch and identified Henderson as the gunman. The gun was recovered and turned over to LMPD.

Henderson is charged in this case with first-degree robbery.

On March 5, 2014, Henderson was approached by officers who knew he was a wanted man. Police said Henderson took off running, but he was captured several blocks away.

Officers said they recovered seven crumbled while pills that Henderson said were xanax.

Henderson is charged in this case with possession of a controlled substance and fleeing and evading police.
