LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Jefferson County sheriff's deputies arrested the student whose comment caused a high school to be placed on lockdown.
According to his arrest report, Nevan Lee Swinney, 19, was involved in a confrontation with another student at Seneca High School when he made a comment about having a homemade bomb.

The other student reported the comment made by Swinney to school officials. Seneca and several surrounding schools were placed on lockdown. The building was searched. No explosive device was found.
Swinney was arrested on a charge of wanton endangerment.
