Students compete at Louisville Regional Science and Engineering Fair

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A school fair showed off middle and high school students' science and math skills at the University of Louisville.

The University held the event March 8 for students with a passion for science, technology, engineering or mathematics in the UofL Student Activities Center.

Middle and high school projects are sent to compete at the Kentucky Science and Engineering Fair at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.

Six winners in the high school level will get the opportunity to qualify for a four year scholarship from the University of Louisville.

Top high school winners and their teachers are selected for an all expense trip to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair at Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles California.
