(FOX19) -

Police across the Tri-State are looking for a man wanted in Tennessee.

It all started with a traffic stop that started at 1:00 a.m. this morning when a county police officer pulled over a vehicle on Norwood Lateral.

One man got out and took off on foot into a wooded area along I-71. The deputy gave chase but lost the subject after a brief foot pursuit.

The man who took off is 25-year-old Terrence D. Brown from Nashville, Tennessee.

Brown is wanted for first degree murder, aggravated robbery and assault.

Officers have brought out the K9 Units as well as the helicopter to track down the suspect.

Police say Brown used to live in Cincinnati in the College Hill area a few years ago.

Brown is described as a black male, 6'01", 160 pounds, last seen wearing dark pants and a camouflage jacket. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.

FOX19 will continue to update the story as soon as more information becomes available.
