LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – One man is dead after his car crashed into two utility poles.
According to police, a single vehicle accident happened on Dorsey Lane near Ward Avenue Saturday night around 10:50.
The driver of a Toyota Tacoma pickup was traveling northbound on Dorsey Lane, lost control in a curve at the intersection and hit a utility pole.
The truck then rotated and slid into the easement striking a second utility pole. The truck flipped on its side and stopped.
LG&E arrived on scene to cut the power lines before the driver could be pulled from the truck.
Adam C Andrew, 35, from Louisville was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force injuries at 11:04 p.m, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.
His funeral will be held at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, Kentucky.
