NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) - From the moment the 5-year-old lone survivor of a house fire that killed her three siblings awakened from a coma, all she could dream about was a Disney vacation.

Recently, Tatyana Hughes' family discovered the trip wouldn't happen.

"The trip is off. As much as my daughter, as much as my family has gone through and grandbaby has suffered, I will not allow anyone to come in and lie to my grandbaby," Marie Clark said Wednesday.

WAVE 3 News contacted the individual, Muhammad Alif, who claimed he was sending the family on a Disney trip. Alif told WAVE 3 News late Wednesday night that he stands by his offer to send two adults and two children to Disney World.

"I told the family my offer stands. I'm a man of my word. Once [Tatyana] heals I've promised her a trip to Disney World and that's that," Alif said.

Tat'yana's grandmother, Marie Clark, said her family was a victim of deception.

"There were some other issues that came up about him that broke our trust. The Disney trip is going to happen one way or the other. I don't care what I have to do. I don't care if I have to take on another job. Go back to work full-time. Whatever I have to do - she's going to go," Clark said.

Tatyana Hughes was hurt in the January 4 arson that killed her three siblings, Trinity Hughes, age 2, Tyrese Hughes, age 4, and Tai'zah Hughes, age 6, in a home on Ealy Street.

Police arrested Cody Cashion, 18, Kylie Jenks, 19, Shelby Makowsky, 18 and a 17-year-old juvenile in connection to the fire where investigators said Cashion fired a flare into the house.

Tatyana and her siblings were visiting the house. The person police said Cashion intended to be the target was not home.

An account, called "T-Angels" is set up at all Fifth Third Bank locations to help offset Tat'yana's medical bills.
