    LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Here are ten things Kentuckiana will be talking about today:

1. Spring starts today – Christie Dutton of the WAVE 3 Storm Tracking Team says there will be plenty of sunshine for the start of spring today. Find out what she says we can expect for this weekend's weather.

2. UofL basketball in Orlando –Defending national champion Louisville is seeded fourth in the Midwest Region of the NCAA tournament and will face 13th-seeded Manhattan tonight at 9:30 in Orlando. WAVE 3 Sports Director Kent Taylor is in Orlando to bring you more on the Cards match up with Manhattan.

3. Watson family set to build new homeChad and Kylie Watson lost their entire family in a house fire January 30 but are now one step closer to building a new home. The construction will begin once they complete the process of getting the new lot approved.

4. Watch out for scams – The Better Business Bureau warns that major sporting events like the NCAA Tournament are perfect opportunities for scammers to take advantage of fans. The BBB says be on the lookout for fake tickets, travel deals that sound too good to be true and for web sites selling merchandise, some may only be looking to get their hands on your credit card information.

5. Happy anniversary – The Louisville Hand Transplant Program celebrates the 15th anniversary of the World's Most Successful Hand Transplant. The success of the surgery impacted the future of both transplants and reconstructive surgery around the world.

6. Pay up or eliminate programs – The state budget that passed the House last week includes funding cuts for mental health providers. Leaders from Seven Counties Services in Louisville say funding programs for drug addiction, alcoholism and mental health among children is a lot cheaper than locking them up in prison later. The Senate still needs to approve the budget by the middle of next month

7. No Disney World for TatyanaTatyana Hughes was hurt in the January 4 fire that killed her three siblings. From the moment she woke up all she could talk about was going to Disney World. While in the hospital Marie Clark says the man told her he was with a non-profit organization and told them once Tatyana was well he was send her on the trip of a life time. 9. Final passage for Kentucky cannabis bill – A bill legalizing cannabis oil for medical purposes cleared its last major hurdle March 19. The measure would allow the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky hospitals to use marijuana oil to treat seizure patients. 10. JCPS report cards – JCPS says report cards should be received in the mail Thursday March 20 and parents are encouraged to talk to their children about it.
