Man accused of threatening to kill Walgreens customers, police

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Officers responded to a Walgreens after a man allegedly threatened to kill everyone inside the store, and officers, if he had a gun.

According to a police report filed by Louisville Metro police, Keith D. Broadus, 54, was yelling and cursing at customers around 5:30 p.m. March 18 in the Walgreens located at 2368 Frankfort Avenue.

The report said when Broadus was confronted by the manager he attempted to spit on her and threw a cigarette at her. When police arrived he began to yell and took an aggressive toward officers.

Police used a simple take down on Broadus and took him into custody.

Broadus is charged with disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening.
