LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Fairdale man is charged with wanton endangerment and robbery after stealing marijuana from his niece and friends, according to his arrest warrant.

The victims were at a friend's house when Kristopher Perkinson, 29, came out of the house with a shotgun demanding marijuana and money, police said.

The warrant states Perkinson then punched a female victim in the face, knocking her to the ground. While Perkinson and a male victim were fighting, another person came out of the house with a pistol and told the female victims not to move.

Perkinson stole about two ounces of marijuana from the male victim and fled on foot. The female victims also fled before police arrived.

Police say Perkinson is the uncle of one of the female victims and a friend of the others.

The status of the second suspect is unknown.
