LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – It was a great day for participants in the 13th Papa John's 10 Miler.
More than 7,500 people registered for the race Mar 22 making it one of the largest 10 mile runs in the country.
"This was such a great way to celebrate the 13th Papa John's 10 Miler. Great performances from all our participants, great weather, we couldn't be more pleased with all the results. It was a great day, with a great crowd, the race continues to get better." said Rene Kesterson, Race Director.
The continuing goal of the Papa John's 10 Miler is to improve the lives of children in the Kentuckiana area.
Since 2002, the Louisville Triple Crown of Running has donated more than $1.2 million to the Crusade for Children.
All participants in the 2014 Papa John's 10-miler can get their time and final placement on the race website at www.papajohns10miler.com.
