Update: Taylor Mill drunk driver arrested for crashing into porch

TAYLOR MILL, KY (FOX19) -

A drunk driver on Sunday morning was arrested for crashing his car in to a Taylor Mill home.

Taylor Mill Police say 49-year-old William Wagner was traveling in the 4900 block of Taylor Mill Road when he crossed into oncoming traffic, driving his Pontiac into a yard and hitting the front porch of a home.

Wagner tried to flee the scene, but the vehicle was stuck in the yard, according to authorities.

Police say they had to smash a window open and drag Wagner out after he refused to exit the car willingly. Wagner attempted to assault officers as they arrested him, according to police.

No one was injured in the crash or arrest.

Wagner is charged with operating a OVI, Wanton Endangerment, Resisting Arrest, and Assault on a Police Officer.
