Man accused of setting house on fire twice after argument with fiancé

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) –A man set his house on fire twice after an argument with his fiancé in the Portland neighborhood, reports said.

According to MetroSafe the second fire started around 8:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of Bank Street.

Major Henry Ott said that Earhart set the first fire on the front porch with minor damage after a dispute with his fiancé. Later that night she came back and he was running out of the house and the front and rear of the house was on fire which spread to houses on both sides, according to Major Ott.

Earhart was arrested March 22 and is being charged with four counts of arson.
