Louisville, ky (WAVE) – The Kentucky Derby Festival's concert line-up for 2014 offers something for all music fans.  Several national acts will be featured on the Great Stage at Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront. Both free and ticketed concerts are included in this year's line-up.

The FREE concerts kick-off on Friday, April 25, with Electronic Dance Music featuring DJ Z-Trip; Multi-platinum rock band, Everclear, headlines on Saturday, April 26; Celebration Sunday on April 27 features Audio Adrenaline with special guests Kutless, Finding Favour, Shine Bright Baby, and Carrollton; Ohio Players and Lakeside take to the stage on Tuesday, April 29; Sam Roberts Band with LEAGUES is Wednesday, April 30.  More than 30 free concerts featuring local and regional talent will also be featured on the Miller Lite Music Stage inside the Chow Wagon at Kroger's Fest-a-Ville.  Admission to these shows is a 2014 Pegasus Pin. 

NEW this year is the addition of ticketed shows at the Waterfront Jam Presented by Laura's Lean Beef featuring The Fray with The Mowgli's on Thursday, May 1 and Scotty McCreery with special guest Cassadee Pope, and Steve Holy on Friday, May 2. Advance tickets are $22.50 per show through April 9, and $32.50 beginning April 10. They can be purchased online at www.kdf.org or by calling the Derby Festival Concert Hotline 1-866-636-0068.

Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront opens April 24, and will run through Friday, May 2.  The venue will once again be located at Waterfront Park.  The Fest-A-Ville venue will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. This ultimate entertainment experience offers national concerts, family fun, food vendors, a children's inflatable playground, midway rides and more. Kroger is title sponsor of the event, with contributing sponsor Miller Lite.

Friday, April 25

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL FRIDAY CONCERT FEATURING DJ Z-TRIP. 9 PM. Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.  Admission is free with a 2014 Pegasus Pin®.  Sponsor:  Kentucky National Guard.  (FOOD, DRINK AND PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED.) 

Saturday, April 26

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL SATURDAY CONCERT FEATURING EVERCLEAR. 9 PM. Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.  Admission is free with a 2014 Pegasus Pin®.  From 4-7 PM, U.S. military personnel with a valid ID will receive free entry.  Contributing Sponsor: 100.5 Gen X Radio. (FOOD, DRINK AND PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED.)

Sunday, April 27

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL Celebration Sunday with 88.5 WJIE FEATURING AUDIO ADRENALINE.  4 PM.  Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.  Christian contemporary concert featuring Audio Adrenaline with special guests Kutless, Finding Favour, Shine Bright Baby, and Carrollton.  Admission is free with a 2014 Pegasus Pin©.  Sponsor:  88.5 WJIE.  (FOOD, DRINK AND PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED.)

Tuesday, April 29

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL TUESDAY CONCERT FEATURING OHIO PLAYERS WITH LAKESIDE. 8 PM. Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.  Admission is free with a 2014 Pegasus Pin®.  Sponsors:  Kroger and Miller Lite.  Contributing Sponsors:  B96.5 FM and MAGIC 101.3.  (FOOD, DRINK AND PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED.)

Wednesday, April 30
