Passed out man in auto center facing charges

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man found passed out inside an auto repair center is now facing drug charges.

On February 25, Louisville Metro Police were called to the Ken Towery location on Cane Run Road. A LMPD officer said Brent Davis, 32, was flat on his back on the floor, half in and half out of the men's room.

The officer found Davis had four pills inside a cigarette box that were thought to be morphine. The box also contained residue of what was believed to be marijuana. Davis also had a used needle and a spoon and his belt was found on the restroom floor.

Davis was taken to Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. He was served with a criminal summons by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies on March 21 at the Hall of Justice for possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia related to the incident. Davis will appear in court on May 27.
