LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two Louisville Metro Police officers have been taken to a hospital for treatment after an accident in the Schnitzelburg neighborhood.
According to MetroSafe, the crash happened at Eastern Parkway and Keswick Boulevard at 2:57 p.m.
According to an officer at the scene, the two were riding in an unmarked vehicle. Both officers are said to have suffered neck and head injuries. The injuries are reported as non-life threatening.
Police said the occupants of the second vehicle were not hurt.
The officers were taken to nearly Norton Audubon Hospital for treatment.
