SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) -

Police in South Windsor said they've caught a man who helped steal two trucks loaded with furniture four years ago.

Nelson Rivera, 27, of New Britain, was arrested on a warrant Thursday and was set to face a judge Friday.

Police said Rivera and others burglarized a local trucking company in 2010.

They said they stole two trucks full of furniture from the company's property.

DNA evidence submitted in January of this year implicated Rivera, investigators said. That led to the warrant, which was served Thursday.

Rivera was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the first degree.

He was held on a $75,000 surety bond, police said.

Rivera's court appearance was scheduled at Manchester Superior Court.
