LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Second Street was shut down between Jefferson and Market Streets Monday morning after the discovery of a suspicious device, according to a MetroSafe dispatcher.

The device was found around 7 a.m. Emergency crews were on the scene trying to determine the nature of the device.

Investigators determined the device is not an explosive.
