LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The second man arrested for home invasion during which the homeowner was assaulted has been arraigned.
Michael W. Luckenbill, 34, is charged with one count of robbery for the March 30 incident.
An arrest warrant states Luckenbill and Michael Luker, 36, showed up at the home of a man and forced themselves inside. Once in the home, Luckenbill and Luker beat the man with their fists in the face and head and struck him with a hammer.
Police said the men got $800 in cash, a gold necklace and a bottle of prescription hydrocodone.
As Luckenbill and Luker were leaving the home, police said the victim recognized one of the men but could not recall where. After identifying the men in a photo lineup, the victim realized Luker had been at his home several days before to look at a car he was selling.
Luker was arrested on April 1. His next court appearance is April 11. He remains at Louisville Metro Corrections on $5,000 cash bond. Luckenbill will be back in court April 14. His bond was set at $10,000.
