LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A narcotics investigation by Louisville Metro Police resulted in the arrest of a man and a juvenile on drug charges.
LMPD detectives arrested Jeffrey Montgomery, 18, and a 15-year-old girl at a home in the 9700 block of El Prado on April 2.
During a search of the home, police found meth, heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Detectives had been given permission by the owner of the home to conduct the search.
Montgomery is being held at Louisville Metro Correction on charges of possession of a controlled substance (meth), trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin), trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful transaction with a minor.
Because she is a juvenile, specific charges against the girl are not available.
The reports states the girl told police she would give her mother the money from the drug sales to help pay the bills.
