A Charlotte man was arrested on drugs and weapons charges after complaints from residents of a Lincoln County community about suspected drug activity.
The complaints came in to narcotics officers about a home on Fay Jones Road Thursday night.
Officers went to the home and conducted a search, which they say turned up 235 grams of marijuana, a handgun stolen from a home on the same road, a shotgun, and drug paraphernalia.
A Charlotte man, 39-year-old Marvin Antonio Cathey, was arrested and charged with two felony counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, one felony count each of possession of a stolen firearm, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and possession of marijuana, as well as one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cathey was taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center where he was released under a $20,000 bond.
