NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – The man who was convicted in one murder and pled guilty to another was back before a judge as the date for trial in the third murder he is accused of nears.
William Clyde Gibson was in court for a pretrial hearing in the murder of Stephanie Kirk. During the hearing both sides continued to review juror questionnaires. The panel hearing the case will be brought in from Vanderburgh County in southwestern Indiana.
Trial for Gibson, who was convicted in the murder of Christine Whitis and pled guilty to the murder Karen Hodella, is expected to begin June 6.
