LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man has been charged with criminal mischief after throwing his roommate's belongings out of the house, including her stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer, according to a police report.
The victim told her roommate, Roger Isabel, 53, of Louisville, on January 21 that she was moving out and would have her things out of the house by February 6. The victim called the police on January 25 after Isabel threatened to throw her things out. The police told Isabel not to touch her belongings, and the victim agreed to get her things out by January 27.
When she arrived to pick up her belongings, she found that Isabel had already thrown them out. Her children's bicycles and scooters were damaged, along with a dining room table. The damage to the item is estimated at more than $1,000.
Police arrived at the scene, and Isabel reportedly yelled that the victim did not live there and that it was his house. Police say the two were renting the house.
Isabel was arrested early April 10.
