SPARTA, Ky. – Kentucky Speedway's free Ford Fan Day returns on Saturday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event gives visitors a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at the venue while enjoying family oriented activities, giveaways, food, pace car rides with a donation to our Speedway Children's Charities (SCC) chapter and for the first time lawn mower racing.

Fans will be able to tour the spotters stand, flag stand, garages, owner's suite, press box, and campgrounds, have their photo taken in Victory Lane as well as see Fire and Safety vehicles. Guests will also be able to learn more about the speedway from our General Manager Mark Simendinger during the "Ask the GM" question-and-answer sessions at 1:30 p.m., in the press box on suite level. Visitors will also be able to talk to racing experts during the insightful "Racing Roundtable" chats at 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Those sessions will also be in the press box on suite level.

The Raceway Ministries Kids Zone will be filled with activities such as face painting, Hot Wheels racing, a pit stop tire challenge, inflatables and petting zoo with animals from Honey Hill Farms.

New this year will be an exhibition by the United States Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA). Established in 1992, the USLMRA is America's oldest and largest National Mower Racing Sanctioning Body. Now in its 22nd year, the USLMRA has local chapters and affiliated clubs across the country.

In addition, ZLOOP Computer Electronics and Recycling Centers (CERC), Kentucky Speedway's September 19 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards title sponsor, will be on site accepting small electronics for recycling. ZLOOP CERC will collect items at its display near speedway Gate 15. The initiative advances the company's mission of altering consumers that eWaste is serious waste and can be properly recycled through its recycling centers and authorized drop-off locations.
