According to Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Dwight Mitchell, the wreck happened at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Glen Oak Drive and Bradford Drive.

Mitchell said a preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a Jeep Cherokee was traveling westbound on Bradford Drive and attempted to make a left turn onto Glen Oak Drive. While the Jeep was turning it collided with a man who was driving a moped southbound on Glen Oak Drive.

The man driving the moped was Joshua Paul Jones, 24, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple injuries.
