LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a dead body in a high traffic area of Louisville Saturday morning.
A 911 call to the MetroSafe brought police to the 8400 block of Westport Road before 9 a.m. Saturday. The caller said a person was hanging from a tree.
Officers on scene advised the person died from self-inflicted injuries.
The incident remains under investigation. The name of the person has not been released.

The crash happened at 1:20 p.m. at State Road 160 and Pennsylvania St.
