Yum! Brands CANstand Day

Honoring the Mayor's Give A Day Campaign

11am - 2:30pm

Donate and receive $5 Sutherland gift card

4th & 5th Grades will honor the Mayor's request to VOLUNTEER and Be ACCOUNTABLE! The students will rotate through the school day, serving fresh lemonade to the public in exchange for canned goods or a cash donation. Grades K-3 will be able to visit the CANstand, Spin the Wheel of Yum!, and enjoy lemonade! 100% of the donations go to feed the hungry in our community. There will be two different drop-off areas, Sutherlands Parking Lot and at the end of the Chenoweth Elementary Carpool line.

The Yum! Brands Foundation launched the CANstand campaign in 2010 with kids accountability in mind. Chenoweth Elementary is very excited to help the fight against hunger. Mayor Fischer will join the activities and thank the kids for their support from 1:15pm - 1:45pm.
