LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville woman was arrested following Thunder Over Louisville after she was found with a purse that wasn't hers.

Around 10:20 p.m. April 12, Shelby M. Cutler, 20, was seen by a Jefferson County sheriff's deputy running through a parking lot clutching a purse. A woman was yelling at bystanders to stop Cutler because the purse had been stolen.

Cutler fled across Market Street using the heavy car traffic after Thunder to help her escape attempt. She was arrested a short time later in the 400 block of E. Market. The purse and its contents were returned to its owner.

Cutler was booked at Louisville Metro Corrections on charges of theft by unlawful taking and fleeing or evading police.
