LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police responded to a roll-over crash and found a drunk driver.
Officers reported to the 4100 block of Old Shepherdsville Road on Tuesday night. A 2014 black Jeep was involved in a roll-over crash. Fire crews were already on scene working to cut the woman out of the car.
According to a police report, Valerie Suell, 39, told officers she had eight shots of tequila before driving. Police said she had glassy, bloodshot eyes and smelled like alcohol. Suell consented to a blood alcohol test at University Hospital.
Two witnesses to the accident said she was speeding when the crash occurred.

She is being charged with aggravated DUI and failure to maintain insurance.
