LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A plumber failed to do the work he was paid to do, but took the cash anyway, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Officers issued an arrest warrant for Michael Hall, 46, after a woman said she paid Hall for work he never completed. Hall was paid $12,000 in cash on March 12 from Highbaugh Concrete and Construction. He was supposed to do plumbing work at a job site in the 9900 block of Bunsen Way.

The work was never completed and Hall was contacted by phone. He admitted to spending the money, according to the warrant.
