ST, MATTHEWS, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man has confessed to police that he was the person who burglarized a St. Matthews VFW post.
The burglary at the Zachary Taylor VFW Post 180 happened around 11 a.m. on April 13. In a taped confession, St. Matthews Police said James Harmon, 33, of Louisville, told police he used a board to break out a window.
Harmon also told police he is addicted to drugs and was looking for money.
The arrest report says Harmon didn't take anything, but left behind his cell phone.
Harmon is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on one count of burglary.
