Gibson sentenced for Hodella murder

NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – For the second time a murder sentence has been made official against William Clyde Gibson.

After admitting his guilt and taking a plea deal, Gibson received a 65 year sentence for the death of Karen Hodella.

Gibson is already on death row for the murder of Christine Whitis, 75. He is now awaiting trial for the murder of Stephanie Kirk, 35, whose remains were found in his backyard.
