FLOYD COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - Emergency crews were on the scene of a serious crash on eastbound Interstate 64 in Floyd County, Indiana Saturday afternoon.
The Floyd County Sheriff's Department said the accident happened around exit 121. Traffic was backed up at least to the Georgetown exit at one time, but the accident scene has since been cleared.
A dispatcher would not release additional information.
Witnesses said numerous fire trucks, police cars and a medical helicopter were on the scene.
