JCPS considers closure of middle school

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Scores have placed the future of a Jefferson County Public School in jeopardy.

Monday JCPS Superintendent Dr. Donna Hargens said the district is seriously considering closing Myers Middle School.

Myers, which has an enrollment of 1,100 students, scores in the bottom one percent of Kentucky schools academically.
