LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man is under arrest after making a 911 call during which he told operators he was going to come to the police station and kill officers.
Mark Edward Wright, 48, made the call on April 21. When police arrived at his home, Wright's sister told officers he was tearing up the house. Wright then yelled at officers that he was going to beat the hell of them and smash their faces with a telephone.
The arrest report says Wright resisted attempts to place him into custody by punching and kicking at them. One officer was kicked in the groin.
Wright was charged with menacing, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
