LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Distance
is no longer an obstacle when it comes to transporting patients to Kosair
Wednesday the hospital
unveiled the Just For Kids Transport Team Airplane, a refurbished 1980
Beechcraft King Air 200, at the Clark Regional Airport.
The aircraft flies more
than 200 children each year to Kosair Children's Hospital from across Kentucky
and the region.
The refurbished plane
features a customized medical interior that can transport either one pediatric patient or two infants at a time.
The refurbished plane was made possible
through the Children's Hospital Foundation and a $1 million donation from
