LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man for the January 30 robbery of a discount store.
The robbery occurred at the Family Dollar store at 790 Eastern Parkway. Police say Christopher Darnell Robinson, Sr., 42, of Louisville, entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded cash. After getting the money, Robinson fled.
Robinson was arrested at 8:20 p.m. April 23. Police said he gave a statement about his involvement in the robbery.
Robinson was booked on one count of robbery. Jail records show he is also being held on probation violation, outstanding bench warrants and several traffic charges.
