Motorcyclist dies in Marigny car crash

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A motorcyclist died after running a red light in the Marigny Saturday night.

On April 27 around 1 a.m. a 45-year-old male motorcyclist ran a red light at the intersection of St. Claude and Franklin Avenue and was hit by a car. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene and the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
