LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two central Indiana residents are facing multiple charges after their arrest in Louisville for having counterfeit money.

West Buechel police arrested Christina Ford, 34, and Quincy Oliver, 26, at 11:30 p.m. April 26 at Walmart in the 2000 block of Bashford Manor Lane.

Arrest reports say Ford and Oliver, along with two others, passed counterfeit $100 bills at stores across Jefferson County. At the time of their arrest, Ford and Oliver, both of Indianapolis, were in possession of 27 counterfeit $100 bills.

Ford and Oliver are being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on 27 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument. West Buechel police are working with the U.S. Secret Service as the investigation continues.
