LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man who was the target of a narcotics investigation tried to flee from police.
Louisville Metro Police said Onturo Juan Johnson, 41, ran several stop signs and nearly hit a pedestrian after detectives attempted to stop his car. Police said Johnson pulled into the parking lot of his apartment and fled on foot. Johnson was arrested as short time later.
The arrest report says a large quantity of cocaine and marijuana was found in the car after a police K-9 alerted officers to its possible presence. Inside his apartment police found a handgun along items used in drug trafficking.
