LMPD asking for help to identify bank robber

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police are asking for help the community's help to identify a man accused of robbing a bank.

According to police, on April 7 the suspect went into the Speedway located at 3030 Taylor Boulevard, approached an employee, indicted he was armed with a handgun and demanded money.

Once the suspect was handed the cash he fled on foot.

Police described the man as being 40 to 45 years old, 5'9'' tall and weighing 160 pounds with a thin build.

No one was injured during the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call the LMPD anonymous tip line at (502) 574-LMPD.
