Man threatens residents at housing complex

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man has been summoned to court following an altercation at a public housing complex.

According to a criminal summons, Ronald Edwards, 58, was at Dosker Manor on March 15. Edwards is not a resident of the complex, but had been seen there before. Police said he went to Dosker Manor to drink and has been in fights with residents in the past.

On March 15, a resident of the complex was leaving his home when Edwards began cursing at the resident while accusing him of calling the police. The victim told Edwards he hadn't called the police and Edwards picked up a garbage can lid as if to strike the victim.

The argument continued so police and security were called. Police made Edwards leave the property. Since the incident, Edwards has been seen at the complex.

He is being charged with menacing.
