LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police arrested a Louisville man on a warrant that says he assaulted a woman and was going to cause her to have a miscarriage.

Deaundre R. Walker, 36, is charged with unlawful imprisonment, wanton endangerment, terroristic threatening and assault – domestic violence.

An arrest warrant says Walker was involved in an argument with a woman on April 7 that turned physical when he was asked to leave and refused. The woman said Walker punched her in the face with his fist while he was holding a cell phone.

The woman said she hit Walker back before running into the living room and hitting his PlayStation with a hammer. The warrant says Walker twice picked up the woman, who was 11 weeks pregnant, and threw her onto a couch before taking out his lighter, and placing it near her hair and clothes to try and burn her.

After Walker told the woman they were both going to die today, she fled into a bedroom. Walker shoved her onto a bed and said he was going to hit her in the stomach to cause a miscarriage.

The report says Walker's cell phone rang and the incident ended. After Walker packed his clothes and left, the woman called police.

LMPD officers arrested Walker on April 29.
