LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police arrested a man with a stolen gun near the Pegasus Parade route after receiving a tip from his mother saying he was going to "cause a scene," according to court records.

Anthony Miller, 18, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at the intersection of 8th Street and Broadway. According to police, Miller had a handgun that he planned to use at the parade. The gun was reported stolen earlier on Thursday.

Officers stopped Miller because he matched a description of the man who stole the gun.

Miller is charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, terroristic threatening, tampering with physical evidence and receiving stolen property.

Miller was arraigned Friday and entered a not guilty plea.
