A British woman who decided to join the mile-high club on a flight bound for Las Vegas last week had to be restrained by the flight crew, according to a report.
The New York Daily News reported Monday that the woman, who is in her 20s, was on a Virgin Atlantic flight to Sin City from London, when she and a fellow passenger decided to get a little rowdy in the lavatory.
According to the report, passengers began complaining about the loud sex noises being made by the duo. The flight crew had to break down the door to break up the romp.
The crew was then forced to cuff the woman after she began screaming at them, according to the Daily News. She was met by police upon landing in Las Vegas, according to a Laura Kilroy, spokeswoman for Virgin Atlantic.
Las Vegas Metro police said the woman was not arrested.
Kilroy told FOX5 that the airline does not tolerate disruptive behavior by passengers.
"The safety and welfare of our passengers and crew is the airline's top priority," Kilroy said in a statement.
The identity of the woman was not released, since an arrest report was not filed.
