East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives are looking for a woman who they say attempted to purchase merchandise using counterfeit money.
It happened at Target on Siegen Lane on April 1 at about 4:30 p.m.
According to police, the suspect presented the cashier with 11, $20 dollar bills which were checked for their validity using a counterfeit detector pen. The suspect was asked to wait for Loss Prevention Associates after the problem was detected, but she left the store leaving the money and the items behind.
The suspect has black hair and is approximately 5 feet 6 inches inches tall weighing about 125 pounds and wearing a black dress.
